nothing more exciting then a power women making powerful moves and Boss Lady Emani Jeter owner and creator of Beauty Strike
Cosmetics is one to watch. This break through brand is all about
buildable and breathable vegan cosmetics to stimulate the world of beauty.
Emani Jeter was introduced to the
world of beauty at the young age of 13 and fell in love. Emani’s mother, a long time Mary Kay
cosmetics Director would bring Emani along to conferences, trainings and even
have her help run the beauty presentation parties. “Randomly my mom threw me
into the pits. (She asked me) can you do a (Mary Kay) party for me and I
thought she was going to show up and she never showed up. I ended up doing a
whole skin care and cosmetics party by myself,” shared Emani. Soon she was
comfortable with selling Mary Kay cosmetics but knew creating something to
represent her was the ultimate goal. As someone who suffers from eczema and minor psoriasis it was
important to create something that was natural and organic that would not
irritate her skin. Emani talked about how some make-up is actually made of
ingredients that are horrible for your body and skin and make-up is something
that women where everyday! Some non-vegan based products have even made her
sick, those issues alone, motivated Emani to make Beauty Strike a healthy make
up brand. Not only is the line good for any skin type but especially good for
darker skin tones to achieve the coverage and vibrant pigments as non-vegan
make-up.
Beauty Strike was created and
recently celebrated its 1-year Anniversary. The event was held at The Vnyl in
New York City. The night was wonderful as each guest got a chance to enjoy
cocktails sponsored by Hooch Hospitality Service, light refreshments, Network
with like-minded company, and test out the Beauty Strike Products. Exciting
news was shared at the event about the expansion of the line including
foundation, mascaras, and eyeliners. These products will be in addition to the
lipsticks, glosses, blush, highlighters, bronzers, and eyeshadows currently
available. A brand new NYC showroom will be opening in the Fall of 2018 where
make up will be on display, for sell and facial services will be offered.
